Grilling can be a difficult science to pin down, but Charred mobile app can help take out the guess work and ensure that every time you grill you get it right! The app is jam packed with features that can assist aspiring grill-masters, a quick analyzer to find out what and how much you're grilling, recommended and saved recipes to bolster your knowledge, and dedicated timer and walkthrough modes that take you from spicing all the way to slicing.

The primary function of the application is the “Grill Analyzer”, and it is made up of 2 pages, the first is an icon prompt that asks “What are you cooking”, after selecting the appropriate items the second page asks further questions “How Much?” and provides preference options for all or some of the items (rare, burnt to a crisp, etc). Upon filling out these 2 sections the user is them provided with a overview page of the item and the grilling method. The user can follow the instructions on their own, or set the “Timer” mode which would provide them with a step-by-step guide on how to prepare and grill the items to perfection. Simple pagination lets the user know how many steps they have completed and how many are left to go, making managing prep and grilling so much easier.

Finally there is a feature for saving and finding new recipes locally within the application, so that the user can quickly find recipes that interest them and if they are satisfactory, save them in the library for later usage.
