In a sea of streamers, your branding sets the tone of your channel.

Obviously from GiftedPixel's other Twitch.tv related projects, GP is a big supporter of Twitch and streaming video content so it felt great to be able to support other streamers via creating unique branding for their channels. The branding of a channel sets the tone for all new viewers before ever even interacting with the streamer, things like twitch channel metrics can be overlaid on the screens at all times to take some of the burden off the streamer to communicate shout outs, which frees up the streamer to do what they do best, stream content to their audience! Each streamer requested something unique to them that would help get their message and vibe out to potential viewers. And each and every time GiftedPixel delivered. Feel free to visit any of the streams and ask the streamer yourself, all of them have been very satisfied with their overlay.

There is a lot of content that goes into a channel, things like channel banners, profile banners, chat emoticons, in-game/out-of-game overlays, and channel offline are just a few of the needs for a twitch only channel, additional content is needed to address other social media feeds (twitter, instagram, facebook, etc). All of these items need to tie back into the central “theme” the streamer has chosen. At the end of the day, I think each streamer was happy with their overlay and through word of mouth the opportunities to create overlays for streamers have continued to pour in.
